HTC to launch 3 Android based smartphones in China Soon

HTC has made an announcement that it will soon launch 3 Android-based smartphones in China.
These Android phones have received a remarkable response in the US and Europe but it is still to be seen how they are welcomed by the people of China.
HTC plans to launch HTC Hero, HTC Click and another low-end unnamed phone in China by the fourth quarter of this year. Offered with two detachable front covers, the HTC Click will be priced at 3,400 Yuan (approx. Rs. 23,680).
The HTC Hero, however will be higher at 5,600 Yuan (approx. Rs. 39,000) and will also support 3G network by China Unicom along with its regular features. Google Maps application will be missing this time.
The China Unicom’s 3G network will also be supported by the third unnamed handset whose other details regarding specifications and price are still not known.
