New Delhi: Hockey India (HI) chief AK Mattoo had five hour meeting for peace talks between the hockey team players and chief coach Jose Brasa.

Mattoo said everything was sorted out. But a team insider has another
story to tell.
“The meeting has not done any good for the side. There will be more
problems. Personally, I am not satisfied. Whatever happened on
Thursday will ultimately affect the Indian team,” the player said.
He also added, “The whole episode has hit the unity of the team.
Groupism and favouritism can be seen clearly. We don’t know who will
be the next captain.”
He said further, “The coach tried to appoint five different
captains for a particular series. The theory was a disaster for the
team’s unity as it created a rift among players.”
