Natalie Holloway Confession: latest news about updates in Natalie Holloway Confession, natalie holloway, natalie holloway body found, natalee holloway, natalie holloway latest news, joran van der sloot , Joran Van der Sloot, the main suspect in the disappearance of high school student Natalee Holloway, has confessed again, but police aren’t buying it. This time he told a Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf, that he hid her body in the swamp on the north end of the island.

Van der Sloot has confessed in the past, claiming that Holloway died accidentally and insisting that he did not kill her. In an earlier confession he told reporters he dumped Holloway’s body at sea. In 2008, Van der Sloot told a friend, who secretly recorded the conversation, that Holloway had a seizure on the beach, died and then he dumped her body into the ocean. Van der Sloot also claimed at one time that he had sold Holloway to a man on a boat for $10,000.
Van der Sloot later recanted these confessions, saying he had made up those stories to impress whoever he was confessing to at the time. Now, Aruban justice department officials also doubt Van der Sloot’s latest confession, telling De Telegraaf that although it has sparked new inquiries into the investigation, “it soon became clear this statement is a mixture of lies and fantasy.”
Aruba’s chief prosecutor Peter Blanken told NBC News that the suspect’s story was “very unbelievable.” A justice department spokesman told De Telegraaf that if Van der Sloot were telling the truth he would name the exact spot where Halloway’s body is hidden.
Holloway went missing while on a graduation trip to Arbua in 2005. Her body has never been found but she was last seen leaving a bar with Van der Sloot.
If they don’t believe Van der Sloot is telling the truth, why can’t they arrest him for obstructing justice? Van der Sloot has been a sociopath throughout the entire process, even telling one set of reporters that he got rid of her body and “didn’t lose any sleep over it.”
